Great to meet you!

If you are a deep feeler, an overthinker, or someone who is simply tired of carrying everything alone, I am here to help. My name is Elizabeth Berry, and over the past six years of my practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, it has been a profound privilege to help adults establish a safe, empowering baseline for their care. My background includes residential substance use treatment, chronic homelessness programs, and community mental health, giving me a deep understanding of the complex and diverse challenges we face as humans. Today, I enjoy helping adults navigate anxiety, self-esteem challenges, ADHD, autism, substance use concerns, and life transitions. Earning your trust during your most vulnerable moments is an honor I hold deeply, and I am committed to walking alongside you as you find relief from the weight you have been carrying.

My approach to therapy

I believe that the most profound emotional growth occurs when we balance evidence-based practices with a deeply authentic human connection. I approach therapy with curiosity, authenticity, and a down-to-earth style. I enjoy helping clients put together the pieces of their story, understanding how past experiences influence the present while creating hope for the future. Rather than directing clients, I strive to help them recognize strengths that may have been overshadowed by life's challenges and feel empowered to create meaningful change. Approaching our work with deep compassion, I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, Internal Family Systems, and Motivational Interviewing. By blending these modalities, we will outline tangible goals to help you better understand yourself, reconnect with your resilience, and create the lasting, meaningful change you deserve in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

Taking that first step toward healing takes courage, and I strive to cultivate a calm, non-judgmental environment that allows you to step away from daily stress right from the start. During our first session, we will review confidentiality and begin getting to know one another at a natural, comfortable pace without any pressure to share everything all at once. We will gently explore your history and what brings you to therapy, discuss your client-centered goals, and start laying the foundation for the work ahead. I want to make sure you feel completely safe and heard as we collaboratively outline a roadmap for your future. My hope is that you leave feeling understood and hopeful about the journey ahead.
