Great to meet you!

I'm a seasoned mental health professional with 40 years' experience. As a Licensed Professional counselor,I incorporate an array of interventions and techniques borrowing from tenets of CBT, DBT, interpersonal, experiential, psychoanalytic, biofeedback and related self-regulatory interventions. I have a master's degree from Kutztown University as well as a number of certifications including past certification in Biofeedback. I have also completed training in perinatal mood disorders. I have worked in neuropsychiatry, addressing comorbidities of neurological disorders. Most recently, my professional focus has been on women's mental health issues throughout the lifespan. I've also worked in a private practice as well as a partial hospitalization program and I am adept in recognizing and managing psychiatric illnesses and proper diagnosis.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is one of collaboration with the client. It is important to meet my patients where they are in their life and assist them in becoming the best version of themselves. It is my intent to improve quality of lives, recognizing the inherent goodness in all.

What you can expect from me

What is most important for clients to take away from our sessions is a sense of feeling understood and valued. In addition, I offer practical interventions, insights into behaviors and ways to improve acceptance, self-worth and a sense of empowerment.
