Great to meet you!

Great to meet you!

I want you to know right from the start that you’re safe here. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, seen, and respected exactly as you are. No judgment, no pressure, just support.

I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, and before that I worked in labor and delivery nursing. Both worlds, mental health and bringing new life into the world, have shown me how strong and vulnerable we can be at the same time. Those experiences taught me that healing isn’t always a straight path, and that’s okay. I’m here to walk alongside you wherever you are on your journey.

I see you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms. Your story, your values, and what you’ve been through matter deeply in how we work together. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed. I’ll meet you with compassion, curiosity, and respect. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity questions, or the challenges of pregnancy and postpartum, I’ll be here to support you without rushing or judging.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. It’s okay to show up unsure, overwhelmed, or just wanting someone to listen. Together, we’ll work toward clarity, balance, and a sense of empowerment in your mental health.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it’s a partnership. I’ll never just hand you a quick fix. Instead, we’ll explore your experiences, values, and goals together. My role is to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you find tools and strategies that feel doable and right for you.

Kindness, curiosity, and respect guide how I show up for every person I see. I take the time to really understand not just what you’re struggling with, but also what matters most to you. From there, we build a plan that combines evidence-based care with your unique needs and preferences. My hope is that you always feel this is your process, not something being done to you.

What you can expect from me

That first session is all about starting to get to know each other. You can expect me to ask about what brings you in, what you’re hoping for, and a little about your story. There’s no right or wrong way to share. This is your space, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

By the end, my hope is that you’ll leave feeling understood, supported, and a little lighter, like you don’t have to carry everything alone anymore. You’ll also walk away with a sense of what our plan might look like moving forward, whether that means exploring medication, practicing coping strategies, or simply having a space to process tough emotions.

Over time, my goal isn’t just relief from symptoms. I want to help you build confidence, insight, and tools you can carry into everyday life. More than anything, I want you to feel that this is a place where you can show up fully as yourself and know you’re not alone in it.
