Great to meet you!

Hello! I am happy you chose to take that first step towards healing and change. I am a licensed and board certified professional counselor with a background in child, adolescent, marriage, and family issues. My own experiences in the field have helped shaped my openness, acceptance of others, and the drive to provide quality care for so many. For 20 years I have mainly worked with families but have shifted to include more work with adults with anxiety and depression.

My approach to therapy

I realize how difficult it is to open up and talk about things you don't normally want to talk about so I strive to create a place of warmth and acceptance. I also know how important and healthy it is to laugh and celebrate accomplishments. I want to work as a partner to develop goals and help you feel empowered to make those changes.

What you can expect from me

From the start, I create a welcome place for you to tell your story openly without judgement. I then work with you in subsequent sessions to develop goals and increase awareness of patterns that may need to be modified to help you realize the importance of personal change.
