Great to meet you!

Life can change in an instant. Whether you're coping with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or the impact of substance use, it's easy to feel like you've lost your footing or aren't quite yourself anymore. You may be carrying emotional pain that feels difficult to put into words while wondering if life will ever feel manageable again. You deserve support that helps you heal, regain confidence, and move forward one step at a time. I specialize in helping clients navigate substance use and addiction, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and trauma so they can build healthier coping skills, strengthen important relationships, and create lasting emotional wellness. I work with adults and seniors because I believe healing begins when you feel accepted, understood, and supported without judgment.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should provide both a safe place to process difficult experiences and practical tools that help you move forward with confidence. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, and life experiences that have shaped your story while identifying strengths you can continue building on throughout your healing journey. My approach incorporates Strength Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychoanalysis, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Family Systems Therapy because every person deserves care that's individualized, compassionate, and focused on meaningful progress. Together, we can work through PTSD, relationship issues, LGBTQIA+ concerns, emotional regulation, family conflict, life transitions, stress management, anxiety, depression, grief, and substance use recovery, always tailoring therapy to your unique goals, values, and experiences.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a compassionate, collaborative relationship where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and encouraged from the very first session. I'll meet you with empathy, honesty, and encouragement while helping you recognize your strengths, celebrate your progress, and navigate life's challenges without judgment. Whether you're healing from trauma, rebuilding after addiction, coping with grief, or working toward healthier relationships, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you while developing practical tools that continue supporting your growth long after therapy ends. My hope is that you leave each session feeling stronger, more hopeful, and more confident in your ability to create the future you want.
