Great to meet you!

I have a passion for helping people release stress and trauma being stored in the body. I work with adults who have experienced adverse childhood experiences.

My approach to therapy

Each individual coming into therapy is valuable and capable of healing and growth. I work from a self-compassion and trauma-informed approach. I listen carefully to my clients' inner wisdom, as I believe that each individual is the expert on their world. I am trained in Gottman couples therapy, EMDR trauma therapy, Ego State therapy (Parts Work), and integrating faith into sessions for those who are interested.

What you can expect from me

“We heal when we can be with what we feel.” - Hillary McBride

When we have been through traumatic experiences (experiences that leave us feeling afraid, helpless, and unsafe), it can be difficult to sit with emotions and trust what our bodies tell us. I help those I work with learn to sit with and get to know their emotions and bodies. I believe the body holds great wisdom and when we sit with our bodies we benefit greatly.
