Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with nearly 20 years of experience helping teens and adults navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, perfectionism, people-pleasing and major life transitions. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and have advanced training in EMDR, Brainspotting, clinical hypnotherapy, mindfulness and integrative mental health.

My approach is warm, compassionate and trauma-informed. I integrate traditional talk therapy with somatic and mind-body practices to help you understand not only what you’re thinking but also what your body may be holding. Together, we’ll explore the deeper patterns contributing to your distress while developing practical tools to help you feel calmer, more connected and more confident in your life.

I especially enjoy working with people who are used to being the strong one, caring for everyone else or appearing capable on the outside while feeling anxious, overwhelmed or disconnected within. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen and supported as you heal, reconnect with yourself and create meaningful, lasting change. Faith-integrated therapy is also available for clients who would like it.

My approach to therapy

My approach is very integrative and holistic. I am trained in many modalities as I love to learn and grow. I really enjoy bringing my many skills to the session but the most valuable tools are my warmth, connection, empathy, support and encouragement. While my style is very supportive and warm I am also very forward moving and aim to help clients achieve their goals of healing, peace, joy and abundance in life and relationships.

The mind and body are deeply connected and I bring somatic awareness and mind-body conversations and healing approaches to the work I do such as breathwork, sound healing, meditation, EMDR, brainspotting and PRT.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about establishing connection, trust and comfortability. I would love to know more about you, what is bringing you in for therapy - the challenges and struggles you are facing- and talk about what you want your life to look like. I would love to know more about what has helped and what hasn't as well as what the obstacles or challenges are that get in the way of your healing.
