Great to meet you!

Hi, great to meet you! I’m Elizabeth Casas-Valdovinos, a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides individual therapy to adults in English and Spanish. With more than five years of experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, I understand that reaching out for support can feel difficult—and I’m committed to creating a welcoming, compassionate space where you can feel heard and understood.

I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use concerns, stress, grief and loss, life transitions, and challenges with self-esteem. Together, we can explore what you’re going through, identify your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you move toward healing and meaningful change.

I earned my Master of Social Work from California State University, San Bernardino, and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2025. As a wife, mother, and Christian, I value compassion, connection, and hope. When desired, I welcome the opportunity to incorporate a client’s faith and personal values into therapy while respecting each individual’s unique beliefs and experiences.

Taking the first step toward counseling takes courage. I would be honored to support you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is built on trust, compassion, and genuine connection. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and confident that your voice is being heard.

Because every person’s needs and experiences are different, I tailor therapy to you. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and strength-based therapy. Together, we will explore the patterns affecting your well-being, recognize your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you navigate life’s challenges.

For clients who wish to incorporate their faith into the healing process, I also offer Christian counseling. Your individual beliefs, values, goals, and preferences will always be respected.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. You do not have to face life’s challenges alone. I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you as we work toward your goals.

Together, we will build on your strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and foster the resilience and confidence you need to navigate life’s challenges with greater hope and confidence.
