Great to meet you!

I am a queer-identified, gender expansive, neurodivergent clinical psychologist with over 13 years of experience treating adults across the lifespan (with particular expertise in young and emerging adults). I have particular interest and expertise in queer and trans issues, non-monogamy and kink, neurodiversity, trauma, and addiction and substance misuse. I also provide pro bono letter writing for gender-affirming care.

My approach to therapy

Working through a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lens, I integrate insight oriented and mindfulness and acceptance based techniques to help clients better understand themselves - both their strengths and challenges - so they can move toward living lives aligned with their values. I have an engaging and direct style, and seek to be a warm, consistent and supportive presence in my clients’ lives.

What you can expect from me

In a first session, I typically focus on learning in more detail about the client’s reasons for seeking therapy, their hopes and goals for the process, and if applicable, their previous therapy experiences. However, to my AuDHD brain, there is also no such thing as an irrelevant tangent, and I will follow where you lead and help tie the threads together. The biggest goal of a first session, in my opinion, is for the client to get a feel for who I am and how I work so that they can decide if I feel like the right therapist for them.
