Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and life transitions. As a former educator and school principal, I bring a unique understanding of the academic, social, and emotional challenges individuals and families often face. My approach is strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where clients can better understand themselves, build resilience, and develop practical strategies for meaningful growth.

My approach to therapy

I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. My first priority is creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and comfortable being yourself. During our early sessions, we'll spend time getting to know one another, exploring the experiences that brought you to therapy, and identifying your unique strengths, needs, and goals.

From there, we work together to develop an approach that fits you—not a one-size-fits-all plan. I draw from strengths-based, person-centered, and neurodiversity-affirming practices, integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, and Sand Tray Therapy when they align with your needs. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that support lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, your strengths, your relationships, and what has brought you to therapy. At the same time, this is your session. I want to make sure we spend time talking about what feels most important to you, whether that's a current challenge, a long-standing concern, or simply where you'd like to begin. By the end of our first session, my hope is that you'll feel heard, understood, and have a clearer sense of how we can work together to help you reach your goals.
