Great to meet you!

Welcome to therapy! I am excited for you to take this step. My approach to therapy is person-centered and open-minded. I love to integrate assessments, art, personality-typology, psychoeducation, and parts-work into sessions. Outside of my role as a therapist I am also a certified Vultologist, I conduct autism assessments for children, own two cats and one large dog, play guitar, hike, and paint. I am originally from Washington State, but I moved to California for school for my Bachelors degree in Communication Studies. I then moved to Spain for a year, after which I moved to San Antonio and studied Clinical Mental Health at UTSA. Since graduating with my Masters degree, I have worked in career counseling, bereavement and grief, and general private practice offices. I love working with individuals of all ages who want to better understand themselves and live more fulfilling lives.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as an outlet for an individual to use how they choose, and I think that therapeutic needs can vary from person to person. I view my role as providing unconditional positive regard and a consistent, comfortable atmosphere where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, feelings, histories, narratives, and the parts of you that you don't always feel comfortable to share with the world.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect to feel supported, valued, and seen. My goal as a therapist is to be someone you can trust, so that through our time together you can better know yourself and feel empowered in who you are and the choices you make.
