Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist based in Ventura County, California. Since 2019, I’ve worked with older adolescents and adults across the state through Telehealth, as well as in person in my Westlake Village office. My clinical specialties include trauma and PTSD, anxiety, stress, and life transitions.

A bit about me personally: I’m an avid animal lover and proud dog mama to a boxer named Kevin!

My approach to therapy

In my approach to therapy, I am committed to tailoring treatment to the unique needs of each client. To achieve positive outcomes, I utilize evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, along with trauma-informed, attachment-based, and mindfulness-based approaches. I work from a relational approach, encouraging clients to discover inner resources while developing healthy, adaptive coping strategies and skills to combat and reduce symptoms.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, the main goal is to start building a connection and see if we’re a good fit to work together. I’ll ask you some questions to get a sense of what you’ve been experiencing—what feels distressing, what might be getting in the way of your daily functioning, and how you’ve been feeling overall. We’ll also talk about what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, and together we’ll start identifying goals to guide our work moving forward.
