Great to meet you!

I’m glad you’re here. I have extensive experience supporting survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, human trafficking, and other forms of complex trauma. I’m certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), which are evidence-based approaches designed to treat trauma, PTSD, and related symptoms. Many of the clients I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, emotional overwhelm, dissociation, grief, eating disorders, and burnout related to past or ongoing experiences.

As a foster and adoptive parent, I also support foster and adoptive families through a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) lens. I understand how trauma can impact attachment, behavior, and relationships for both children and caregivers. In addition, I work with individuals experiencing prenatal and postpartum mental health concerns, including postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, identity shifts, and the emotional challenges that can come with parenthood.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s needs. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support clients experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and related symptoms. These approaches help clients process difficult experiences, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build healthier coping strategies.

Whether you prefer a structured approach or something more flexible, I adapt therapy to meet you where you are. My goal is to help you develop practical tools to manage distress, improve emotional regulation, and create meaningful changes that support long-term wellness.

I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel empowered to work through challenges and build resilience at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

Thinking about your first session can bring up nerves or anxiety - and that’s completely normal. The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. Whether you’re navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, postpartum challenges, eating concerns, grief, or life transitions, we’ll explore your goals and what support looks like for you.

My goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and supported from the beginning. We’ll discuss how we might work together, answer any questions you have, and begin identifying helpful coping strategies for immediate relief. By the end of the session, you can expect to feel heard, supported, and more confident about the path forward.
