Great to meet you!

As a counselor, I am proud to say I am a huge nerd, which results in my having two master's degrees and numerous and continued completion of advanced training and certifications to support clients' needs. I work with trauma, self-harm, sex and intimacy, grief, personality disorders, first responders, and couple and family conflicts. The tools I bring to our sessions are compiled from a Master’s in Forensic Psychology, a Master’s in Professional Clinical Counseling, and additional specified training in trauma treatment for individuals and family, including EMDR, sex therapy, grief therapy, disaster mental health counseling, personality disorders, person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive processing therapy, reality therapy and parts work.

My approach to therapy

In my experience, we all find ourselves stumbling in life in some way or another. I have extensive training and experience working with clients that struggle with self harm, suffer from depression and anxiety, struggle with low self esteem, are working through couple and family conflicts, feel swallowed by shame and/or guilt, navigating trauma, and are stumbling on their journey towards healing, self acceptance, and happiness.

What you can expect from me

My role is to be the therapeutic resource that brings the overflowing tool box of options to use on your journey. Together, as a team, we find and follow what works best for you to meet your therapeutic goals.

We all find ourselves wading through mud along our journey through life. Some muddy water is easier to get out of than others. If you find yourself sinking, or exhausted trying to push through, reach out; I will join you, dragging my toolbox of resources with me, and together we will come out on the other side.
