Great to meet you!

Bienvenides! I am a Latinx, queer, non-binary therapist committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive, and relational care. I earned my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) with a specialization in Latinx Studies, which deepened my understanding of the social, cultural, and historical contexts that shape individual, family, and community experiences.

As a native Spanish speaker, I offer services in both English and Spanish and strive to create a space where clients can show up authentically in the language and cultural framework that feels most natural to them.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in relational care, holistic healing, and an understanding of the interconnectedness of mind, body, spirit, community, and environment. I incorporate Indigenous-informed values and practices that honor collective wisdom, connection, and resilience. I also work from a decolonizing lens, helping clients explore and externalize the impacts of colonial systems and narratives while reconnecting with their own strengths, identities, and ways of knowing.

In addition to my clinical training, I have completed five of the eight training modules in Somatic Experiencing®, a body-centered approach that supports healing from stress, trauma, and nervous system dysregulation. This training informs my work with clients by helping them develop greater awareness of their bodies, build resilience, and cultivate a deeper sense of safety and connection.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to create a space where you feel welcomed, respected, and safe from the very beginning of our work together. I take time to learn about your unique experiences, understand your needs, and explore the challenges you may be navigating. I follow this with curiosity, gentleness, and care, recognizing that sharing personal experiences can feel vulnerable.

I strive to balance thoughtful questions with allowing you to guide the conversation. I view therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to discover what is most meaningful and helpful for you.

I believe that feeling heard and understood is foundational to healing. I work to create an environment where your story, identities, strengths, and lived experiences are welcomed without judgment. Whether you arrive with clear goals or are still exploring what you need, I will meet you where you are and support you in moving toward greater clarity, connection, and well-being.
