Great to meet you!

With over 30 years of experience as a LCSW, I bring both deep expertise and genuine compassion to every client I work with. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, alcohol and substance use, and relationship challenges.

I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel truly heard. My approach is rooted in warmth, patience, and a deep respect for your unique story. Whether you're carrying the weight of past experiences, struggling with how you cope day to day, or feeling disconnected in your relationships, you don't have to figure it out alone.

My approach to therapy

I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, tailoring my methods to fit what works best for you as an individual. My practice is grounded in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) - all of which help you develop greater awareness of your thoughts and emotions and build healthier, more flexible ways of responding to life's challenges.

I also use a Strengths-Based approach, because I believe you already possess resilience and inner resources worth building upon. When practical tools are needed, I incorporate Problem-Solving Therapy to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Above all, our work together will be collaborative, compassionate, and centered on what matters most to you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply a chance for us to get to know each other - there's no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you're ready to. I'll take time to understand what brings you in, what you've been experiencing, and what you're hoping for from therapy.

I want you to leave that first session feeling a sense of relief, knowing that this is a safe, judgment-free space where your wellbeing comes first. Together, we'll begin to sketch out a path forward that feels meaningful and manageable for you.

I know reaching out for help takes courage, and I'm truly honored when someone trusts me with their story.
