Great to meet you!

Greetings,

I’m Liz Herl, a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. With over a decade of experience, I support individuals and couples through life transitions, relational challenges, and emotional concerns, integrating Internal Family Systems, attachment theory, and cognitive behavioral therapy with a steady, compassionate approach.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, insight-oriented, and goal-directed, focusing on identifying underlying stressors that contribute to symptoms of anxiety and depression. I work collaboratively with clients to develop precise coping strategies, reframe unhelpful thought patterns, and process trauma in a way that fosters healing. This approach supports a reduction in anxiety and negative feedback cycles, promoting greater emotional balance and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a comprehensive review of current stressors and any relevant trauma impacting your life. I provide a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, reflect openly, and receive validation and comfort. This initial meeting is an opportunity to begin releasing what you’ve been carrying in an emotionally secure environment.
