Great to meet you!

I strive to provide care that is personalized, collaborative, and realistic for each individual and family’s daily life, recognizing that every child and family has their own strengths, challenges, and goals.

As a mom of three and former school counselor, I have seen how challenging the growing years can be and how difficult it can feel to find support that is both practical and tailored to your family’s unique needs and goals.

My guiding principle is to create a warm, supportive space where children, individuals, and families feel empowered, understood, and supported as they work toward their goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe there is no one “right” way for a brain to work. My role in therapy is to provide a safe, supportive space where we can explore your unique strengths and work together toward growth, confidence, and empowerment.

I offer:

  • Tailored, individualized treatment
  • A warm, affirming, and supportive environment
  • Parent and caregiver support and education
  • Collaboration with schools and medical providers when requested and clinically appropriate

My goal is to create a space where children, teens, young adults, and their support system feel understood, valued, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges and build on their strengths.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I will focus on helping you feel comfortable in the counseling space as we get to know one another, discuss your goals and history, and complete a few necessary intake forms.

For young children, the first session is often an opportunity to explore the counseling room, begin building trust and connection, and become familiar with the therapy environment at their own pace.

My space is tailored to meet the comfort and usability of young children and teens - furniture is low to the ground and may not be comfortable for some adults.
