Great to meet you!

As a skilled practitioner, I specialize in adult individual psychotherapy and couples counseling. As a foundation to excellent psychotherapy, I implement Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as a research based modality to treatment. This is a mindfulness centered modality that helps my clients develop tolerance to stress, builds on emotional regulation skills, and hones my client’s interpersonal relationship skills.

I utilize mind/body practices in therapy like Polyvagal Theory.

I am also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

My approach to therapy

I have training in Compassionate Inquiry and continue my education and learning as a passionate and dedicated psychotherapist.

We also practice mindfulness skills in the counseling session. We often drop into guided meditation—therapy should be therapeutic, after all.

What you can expect from me

The key goals of working with me as your psychotherapist are to enhance your self-awareness, build self-acceptance, improve emotional regulation, strengthen resilience & develop communication skills.

We also learn a lot about mindfulness and will often practice mindfulness techniques and breathing techniques during the session. Therapy should feel therapeutic!

Over the course of working with me, clients come to realize that the therapeutic alliance is, after all, an attachment relationship. While professional in nature, the therapeutic alliance becomes a very human relationship. Some relationships are by their very nature, shorter, or longer in duration. That duration very much depends on my clients and what suits them and their needs for therapy.
