Great to meet you!
Getting help should feel like something you can actually do. For a lot of families, insurance is the part that makes it feel impossible. I went into private practice specifically so I could take that off the table. I work primarily with children, adolescents, and families. The families I see are usually navigating something that is just hard: a kid who is struggling in school, a teenager who is shutting down, parents who are not sure how to reach them. Sometimes it is a big transition. Sometimes it is the slow buildup of stress that nobody quite had words for yet. I have been doing this for 17 years. Most of that time was spent in clinic settings, where I saw a lot of people and had to move fast. I learned a great deal in those environments. I also learned that real therapeutic progress requires time, consistency, and a relationship where the client actually feels known. That is what I am building in private practice. My approach is direct and warm. I am not interested in jargon. I want to understand what is actually going on and work with you on what will actually help. Sessions are fully telehealth, which means no commute, more scheduling flexibility, and care that fits into your actual life. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
