s. Elizabeth Land, MS, is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Elizabeth completed her Masters in Mental Health Counseling in 2015 through Texas A&M University – Commerce, and is also a graduate of University of Texas at Dallas, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Elizabeth has extensive experience working in a non-profit setting with adults, couples, families, and groups.

My approach to therapy

She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as a person-centered approach to help clients work through issues of depression, family violence, eating disorders, trauma, loss, addiction, anxiety, self-harm, and stress management. Elizabeth has a long history of working with foster children and their families and is well versed in the unique challenges these families face. She is also trained in working with individuals who struggle with substance use issues and co-occurring disorders.
