Great to meet you!

My name is Liz LaRose and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience in the field of mental health. I have worked with individuals throughout the lifespan, specializing in transitions and changes. My most recent work has involved working with the family as a whole, parents and children, to improve family and overall functioning. I primarily work with children, adolescents, transitional/college aged youth and parents, especially mothers.

My approach to therapy

I have a very warm and strengths based approach. My job is to partner with and help guide individuals through their journey, not tell them what to do, but I will provide gentle nudges when appropriate. Balance is an important value in my work.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, I like to explore what you are looking for in therapy and also discuss my approach. I do have intake questions I ask all clients to better understand, but I am open to meet you where you are ready to start.
