Great to meet you!

With over 10 years of experience, I work with young adults, children, and teens, as well as the parents who love them and aren’t sure how to help anymore. Whether you’re navigating trauma (abuse, PTSD, exposure to violence), grief, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ identity, or a major life transition, we work collaboratively to strengthen emotional stability, confidence, and a clearer sense of direction so you can feel more like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

I am not just trauma-informed but trauma certified. I’m trained in TF-CBT, DBT, play therapy, narrative therapy, and solution-focused approaches. In practice, that means I have a lot of ways to meet you where you are: talk therapy, creative activities, skill-building, whatever clicks with you. Therapy can be a relationship of support that lasts indefinitely, but it doesn’t have to be. I specialize in solutions-focused brief trauma therapy. In just a few months, we work to process a particular hard life event so you (or your child) can move forward.

My style is collaborative, warm, compassionate, direct, and honest. My practice is holistic, culturally responsive, antiracist, LGBTQ+-affirming, and neurodiversity-affirming. You won’t spend our sessions explaining or defending who you are. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to ask the right questions and guide you in accessing your own insight, reconnecting with your strengths, and moving through what’s been holding you back.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will go over the therapeutic process and get to know each other. We will discuss what has brought you to therapy and what you are hoping to get out of our time together. I bring a calming, judgment free energy to the space, so you can expect to feel supported and empowered from the very start.
