Great to meet you!

We'll use a combination of traditional talk therapy along with art materials and processes to bring your internal world into workable concrete form, and create opportunities for reflection, problem solving, and integration. My approach focuses on cultivating skills of body-based mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and a deep reckoning with addictive patterns, to support clear expression and action in your life.

My approach to therapy

I make our relationship my top priority, which means creating an environment of unconditional acceptance. I am skilled in making connections and synthesizing ideas so that you can recognize the interconnected constellation of themes in your life in a new way. I am improvisational and intuitive, meaning we may switch gears frequently in order to create channels for clear expression, allowing you to experience an embodied sense of choice and responsibility.

What you can expect from me

I view therapy as a collaboration between client and therapist – I am committed to your role as an equal partner in this process. The first step to getting started with therapy is to reach out via phone or email. Then, over the phone, we’ll schedule a time to meet in person at my office for a free 25 minute consultation to determine whether we are a good fit. If we decide that I’m the right person to support you at this time, then we’ll come up with a regular schedule for our sessions.
