Great to meet you!

I am a licensed social worker in the state of Colorado with 13 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with family conflicts, trauma, abuse, substance use, parenting issues, and a variety of mental health diagnosis (including but not limited to bipolar disorder, PTSD, depression, and anxiety). I believe that you are the expert of your story, that your history matters and that you have what you need within you.

My approach to therapy

My first priority is to be honest and direct. We can't change what we don't understand, and often, the roots of current challenges are found in the past. I believe in exploring history and making connections to current identified issues. My approach is oriented toward meaningful change, grounded in an honest exploration of who you are and how you got here.

What you can expect from me

The first session is primarily an opportunity for us to get to know each other and lay the groundwork for our work together. You can expect it to be a mix of history-taking, goal-setting, and practical logistics.
