Great to meet you!

With over 24 years of experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am dedicated to creating a warm, judgment-free space where you can share your truth openly. I work with adults of all genders and backgrounds, helping people navigate relationship challenges, life transitions, and behavioral changes. A significant part of my practice is dedicated to eating disorder recovery, where I hold advanced certification and bring both specialized training and lived experience to my work. I believe in holistic care, which means I happily collaborate with your other healthcare providers—like your doctor or psychiatrist—to ensure you are fully supported, and I can readily provide trusted referrals for nutritional counseling if that aligns with your goals.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a true partnership, built on the belief that you are the ultimate expert on your own life. My style is collaborative, practical, and deeply compassionate, focusing on helping you live authentically and free from shame or blame. Together, we will set clear, manageable goals that matter to you, and we’ll regularly check in on your progress to ensure you feel forward momentum. I blend evidence-based techniques with a supportive, reflective approach, meaning I am here to truly listen, offer fresh perspectives, and provide tangible tools that empower you to heal and thrive.

What you can expect from me

Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting, so our very first session is all about comfort, safety, and pacing things at a speed that feels right for you. We will focus on getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and easing any anxieties you might have about the process. There is no pressure to have everything figured out; our initial meeting is simply a conversational space for you to share your story and for us to begin shaping a path forward together. If you'd like to see if we are a good fit before diving in, I warmly invite you to reach out for a free, 15-minute phone consultation—I look forward to connecting with you.
