Hello and welcome. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and have been in practice for 29 years. I have worked in diverse settings with adults, children and adolescents, individually, with families, and in groups, both inpatient and outpatient. I am focused on the client and solutions in a practical and straightforward manner. Accepting all clients age 2yrs through Adulthood.
I work with each client in a manner and approach suitable to their age and and developmental needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Play Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Solution Focused Modalities are utilized, as well as other methods as appropriate.
In the first session, goals include establishing a comfortable working relationship, assessing client immediate needs and overall expectations, and outlining specific goals for treatment.
