Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker and consider my specialty to be working with adolescents and adults struggling with mood disorders, anxiety and relationship issues. I also enjoy working with couples. I have worked in a variety of outpatient settings as well as in a middle/high school setting. I work in a collaborative manner with my clients to help them discover areas of strength and areas that need to be healed or understood at a deeper level.

I received my Masters in Clinical Social Work in Chicago, IL.

My approach to therapy

I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important element to successful treatment. I have a very strong sense of empathy for others along with a strong desire to promote growth and health for my clients. I believe in being very actively involved, providing feedback and suggestions in addition to active listening.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel heard and understood after meeting with me. Clients will have a sense of ownership in their growth while feeling the presence of a supportive and challenging guide. I always provide feedback regarding coping strategies and problem solving to help others feel they are growing and functioning at their best.
