Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Elizabeth. As a therapist over the last 13 years I have worked with a wide variety of people as an advocate and an ally in helping them heal and grow through the therapy process. Beginning to look for a therapist can bring on anxiety, but know that taking this step is already a major sign of growth. I help work through the chaos inside one's head to identify what are the actual causes of anxiety, stress, and depression.

My approach to therapy

Using a person-centered approach, I bring different techniques to sessions depending on your needs such as: Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, CPT, ACT, art therapy, motivational interviewing, and I am EMDR trained. I'm a huge advocate in utilizing what a person is passionate about in the healing process such as: music, art, hiking, games, comics, movies, sports, etc.

What you can expect from me

At the beginning we will get to know each other and work together to identify goals for therapy. The first session is a just to gather information and for you to ask any questions you would like. The sessions following will help provide a safe environment to work on your personal goals and weekly stressors.
