Elizabeth Moskowitz

I'm Elizabeth Moskowitz, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Massachusetts, offering both in-person and telehealth therapy to adolescents and adults. I specialize in supporting LGBTQIA+ clients — including those navigating gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and gender dysphoria concerns — as well as relationship challenges, stress management, anxiety, depression, ADHD, identity, and cultural and ethnic issues. I'm committed to providing affirming, culturally sensitive care where every client feels genuinely safe and understood.

I work through a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy. CBT helps us identify and shift the thought patterns driving anxiety, depression, and stress, while Psychodynamic Therapy allows us to explore the deeper relational and identity dynamics that shape how you move through the world. Together, these approaches give us both practical tools for change and the space to understand what's underneath — which I find especially valuable for clients working through identity, relationships, and questions of belonging.

Our first session is a welcoming, low-pressure conversation. I'll ask about what's brought you in, what you've been experiencing, and what you're hoping therapy will help you work through. Whatever your background or identity, you'll find a space here that's affirming and free of judgment. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling truly heard and with a sense of what our work together could look like.
