Great to meet you!

I'm Liz, a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience helping people navigate life's challenges, understand themselves more deeply, and make sense of their relationships and experiences. My approach is conversational, collaborative, and individualized. I believe understanding a person means looking beyond symptoms to explore the experiences, patterns, relationships, and perspectives that shape how they think, feel, and move through life.

My approach to therapy

I bring curiosity, compassion, and an open mind to our conversations. My goal is to create a space where you can speak honestly, explore difficult questions, gain new perspectives, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself without feeling judged or reduced to a diagnosis. I believe meaningful growth begins when we can make sense of our experiences and discover new ways of understanding ourselves and the world around us.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you're hoping to gain from our time together. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share any concerns you may have, and get a feel for whether working together feels like a good fit.

Together, we'll begin exploring what's going on in your life, identifying the areas where you'd like support, and gaining a clearer understanding of your needs and goals. You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet, and there's no expectation that you share more than you're comfortable with. We'll take the time to understand where you are, what matters to you, and what you hope will change, so we can begin figuring out the best way to move forward together.
