Great to meet you!

Xin chào!! Elizabeth welcomes every background and identity from all walks of life who want to bring out their strengths to do the deep work of healing the body and the spirit.

In many cultures, sharing tea and fruit is how we show love, settle disputes, and tell our stories. At Fruitea Therapy, Elizabeth believes every person is a unique blend of heritage, identity, and experience worth holding space for. She supports her community by going beyond the talk space - specializing in a blend of traditional dialogue, shifting deep-rooted beliefs, and somatic body attunement.

My approach to therapy

Elizabeth’s approach is a soulful integration of somatic and EMDR therapies, designed to move you beyond just talking about your pain and into actually feeling a shift in your body. She views therapy as a collaborative process, where you work together to update the internal dialogue that has been bogged down by survival-based data like over-functioning or perfectionism. She helps you untangle the invisible threads of the past that still pull at you today. Her practice is a body-centered sanctuary where the goal isn't just to manage symptoms, but to cultivate a sense of settled safety in your own skin. Through bilateral stimulation and nervous system regulation, Elizabeth guides you in replacing outdated fears with a resilient, grounded truth. Ultimately, she helps you reclaim a self that is no longer just an extension of your history, but a reflection of your own heart.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, Elizabeth focuses on creating a soulful, body-centered sanctuary where you can feel truly seen and understood. She prioritizes building a physical and emotional safety net, ensuring you feel grounded before any deep work begins. You can expect a warm, conversational space where your heritage and lived experiences are held with deep respect, acknowledging the invisible threads that have shaped your path. Together, you will begin mapping out your internal dialogue, identifying the core beliefs and survival habits that you are ready to release. Elizabeth may introduce gentle somatic grounding tools, such as breathwork or body awareness, to help your nervous system begin the shift from high-alert to settled safety. By the end of the hour, you will have a collaborative roadmap and a sense of hope, knowing how EMDR and somatic tools will be used to help you reclaim a self that is authentically yours.
