Great to meet you!

If you're feeling overwhelmed by stress, struggling in your relationships, facing family challenges, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, you're not alone. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, uncertain about how to move forward, or frustrated that their usual ways of coping are no longer working. Others are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, cultural or family conflicts, and other challenges affecting their overall well-being.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience, I have worked with adults from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of emotional and life challenges. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we'll explore the challenges you're facing while identifying your strengths and building practical tools that support meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you recognize the strengths you already possess. My role is to help you better understand yourself, identify patterns that may be contributing to current challenges, and develop healthier ways of coping with life's difficulties.

I use a strengths-based approach and draw from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing, and other practical interventions tailored to your unique needs. Together, we'll work to manage anxiety, improve relationships, navigate family concerns, process difficult experiences, strengthen self-confidence, and create meaningful progress toward your goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, your personal strengths, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where you feel comfortable sharing openly without fear of judgment.

As we work together, you can expect compassion, collaboration, and practical support. Clients often leave therapy with greater self-awareness, healthier coping skills, improved relationships, increased confidence, and a clearer understanding of themselves and their goals. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more empowered, resilient, and capable of creating meaningful and lasting change in your life.
