Great to meet you!

It’s a pleasure to meet you! I’m a psychologist who believes therapy should be a safe space where you can feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, so I strive to create a warm, collaborative environment where you can show up as you are. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season, feeling stuck, or hoping to better understand yourself and your relationships, we can work together toward meaningful and sustainable change. Whatever your circumstances, balancing your own needs while caring for others—including the people you love most—can be difficult. Therapy can be a place where there is room for you, too.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm and collaborative, and I take the time to understand how your experiences, relationships, culture, health, and circumstances have shaped you and what you need from therapy. I use approaches supported by research while tailoring our work to you, whether you are dealing with anxiety or depression, parenting stress, health concerns, difficult past experiences, or changes in your life. I believe therapy is about more than feeling better in the moment—it can help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and find new ways to handle life’s challenges. I also understand how difficult it can be to care for yourself while caring for others—whether you are a parent supporting a child with developmental or medical needs or a healthcare professional who spends much of your time caring for others. Above all, I see therapy as a partnership where we work together toward greater healing and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

I offer a free 15-minute consultation to briefly discuss what brings you to therapy, answer questions, and see if we might be a good fit. During our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you, understand your current concerns, and learn about the experiences and relationships that may be important to you. There is no expectation that you share everything at once—trust takes time, and you decide what you are ready to talk about and when. Together, we’ll identify your priorities and goals, knowing these may change as our work progresses. Above all, I hope to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable working toward healing and meaningful change.
