Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over twelve years of experience working across mental health, child welfare, and behavioral health settings. I currently provide therapy to children, adolescents, and families at a community mental health clinic, and I bring a deep commitment to trauma-informed, client-centered care to every session.

My background is a little unusual — alongside my clinical work, I've spent much of my career developing training programs and supporting mental health professionals, which means I stay closely connected to current research and evidence-based practice. I completed specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Game-Based CBT, and hold certifications in Intimate Partner Violence and Sexual Assault Advocacy.

I work from a place of genuine warmth and curiosity. Whether we're working through past trauma, navigating difficult family dynamics, or supporting a young person through a turbulent time, my goal is for every client to feel truly seen and understood — and to leave our work together with more tools than they came in with. Affirming, Allied, or Culturally Competent

My approach to therapy

My approach is eclectic by design — I draw from a wide range of modalities including Trauma-Informed Care, mindfulness, psychoeducation, relational therapy, strength-based therapy, and positive psychology. I believe no single framework fits every person, and I work collaboratively with each client to find what resonates and what works for them.
