I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing trauma-informed, client-centered care that integrates EMDR, IFS parts work, and somatic approaches.
My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in deep respect for each client’s lived experience. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, relational patterns, cultural identity stress, and high-pressure life transitions. My work focuses on helping clients feel safer in their bodies, more connected to themselves, and empowered to create meaningful, lasting change.
In our first session, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and unhurried. We’ll start by gently exploring what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been carrying, and what you’re hoping to change or understand more deeply. I’ll ask about your history at a pace that feels comfortable for you, there is no pressure to dive into anything before you’re ready.
You can also expect us to talk about what therapy will look like together. I’ll explain my approach, answer any questions you have, and collaborate with you to identify your initial goals. Many clients describe the first session as grounding, clarifying, and surprisingly relieving, because it’s often the first time they feel fully heard.
Above all, the first session is about beginning a relationship. You get to show up exactly as you are, and together we’ll start building a path toward healing that feels supportive, empowering, and uniquely yours.
