Great to meet you!

I have 24 years of experience as a family nurse practitioner and have always had an interest in psychiatric care. I recently obtained certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, and I am thankful to be able to offer this service to both my established patients and potential new patients. My strengths are dealing with complex patients and taking the time to listen to what is being said, never discrediting any symptom or concern that one may have.

My approach to therapy

My approach to psychiatric care is holistic. My knowledge of physical disease processes and their effect on mental health allows me to customize a treatment plan based on each individual's needs.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to have a thorough review of symptoms, medications, past medical and psychiatric history, family and social history. Realistic treatment goals will be mutually established, and appropriate medications will be prescribed or deprescribed as indicated.
