Great to meet you!

I’m a compassionate therapist who believes deeply in the power of an authentic therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as you are—without fear of judgment—and feel truly heard, understood, and supported. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, burnout, addiction, depression, and relationship challenges with family members, partners, or colleagues, as well as individuals exploring their identity after leaving or questioning religious communities. As an openly queer therapist, I’m also passionate about supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community in feeling affirmed and understood. I have work experience in private practice settings, crisis stabilization units, inpatient substance abuse facilities, school settings, trauma/abuse advocacy centers, and medication-assisted treatment centers.

My approach to therapy

I provide a person-centered approach that is LGBTQIA+ friendly, culturally sensitive, holistic, and trauma-informed. I integrate evidence-based modalities of mindfulness, empowerment, and cognitive-behavioral therapy to help clients explore and unpack areas of their life that they may find challenging, confusing, or overwhelming.

What you can expect from me

Your first session will involve an evaluation of your needs. While evaluation is ongoing, the initial phase of evaluation will result in a discussion of your therapy goals and recommendations about how you might reach those goals. You and I will work together to reach a shared understanding of where your problems come from and what factors in your life contribute to keeping those problems in place. This information guides how you will move forward in resolving them. Should either of us determine that the type of treatment I can offer, or the mode of treatment (online) is not a good fit for you, or even if we find that I am not a good fit, I will share recommendations for the right type of treatment and provider.
