Great to meet you!

My name is “Liz.” Professionally, I am licensed as a therapist. I have worked to focus on areas of trauma, relationships, mental illness for adults and adolescents. I take a laid back approach to our therapy environment, as I am accepting no matter what state one may come to therapy in. I believe that life can be messy at times, but those messes can be turned into beautiful messages of growth and healing. I value you, as your own expert and want to help support you, in a safe and secure space, without fear of judgement or expectations.

My approach to therapy

Theoretically, I use an integrated approach. From CBT, DBT, person-centered, and solution focused; I also value the theories of attachment, and for couples Gottman, and EFT.

My style is one that is accepting and empowering. From a space that is warm and without expectations, I maintain a laid-back and empowering space, that enables the client to come just as they are. I have found that clients feel most supported, when they feel as if they are just meeting to chat, and can come however they are. I use humor, and strive to feel more like a safe mentor, than an uptight professional.

What you can expect from me

My goal is always to provide clients the security that they are safe, valued, heard and seen. I will help provide goals, and skills to reach those goals, through processing and healing in whatever way that is best for each individual.
