Great to meet you!

Hello, My name is Elizabeth Suraci and I have worked in the Behavioral Health field for more than 28 years. I have a Masters in Community Mental Health Counseling and am licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut. I have treated clients from very diverse populations with diverse issues in a non-judgmental and compassionate way. I am truly passionate about working with individuals and couples who are struggling with substance abuse issues, chronic illness, mood disorders, and anxiety.

My approach to therapy

As therapy is a personal choice you will be the one who decides what you need to change and how we as a team can each your goals. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and, Motivational Intervention, as tools to assist in reaching one's goals, as well as listening and empowering my client's to be as happy and healthy as posssible.

What you can expect from me

It is my number one belief that a client and therapist must establish a honest and trusting relationship in order to work together to reach one's goals. I tend to be very relaxed and nonjudgmental in order to accomplish the above.
