Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a doctorate in psychology from Pacific University. I specialize in health service psychology, behavioral health, and behavioral medicine. I take a holistic approach to mental health and therapy by considering the reciprocal relationship between the mind and body, as well as the broader social and cultural contexts that impact mental health. I work with adults (18+) and older adults from diverse backgrounds who are dealing with acute or chronic health concerns, chronic pain, anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, life changes, grief, anger, caregiver stress, and sleep issues.

My approach to therapy

I focus on creating a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where all identities feel respected, seen, and understood. I meet clients where they are, emphasizing collaboration to support positive change. I aim to provide an affirming, supportive relationship that emphasizes clients’ strengths, and I use that trust to help them grow.

What you can expect from me

I typically start with a free 15-minute consultation to assess whether I am a good fit for you, provide initial recommendations, and explain what future sessions will be like. Subsequently, we will have a 50-minute session during which you can share your story, experiences, values, and goals at your own pace. People are complex, so we will continue to learn about your needs and adjust your overall therapy goals as our sessions progress. I often suggest exercises or ideas to try between sessions that are tailored to your goals and values. These suggestions are designed to help you apply what we discuss to your life and make progress towards your mental health goals.

If you are ready to schedule a free consultation or initial session, you can do so directly through Headway. Alternatively, you can send me a message through Headway or call me at (617) 819-8792 if my availability does not align with your schedule. I may be able to accommodate different days/times than those listed in Headway.
