Great to meet you!
Hello, and welcome! I'm Elizabeth Tom, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, respect, and evidence-based care. I believe that healing begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Capella University and a Doctorate in Behavioral Health (DBH) Management from Arizona State University. I have experience working in inpatient behavioral health, crisis intervention, telehealth, and care coordination. I also serve as an officer in the Army National Guard, which has given me a deep understanding of military culture and the unique experiences of service members, veterans, and their families.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, life transitions, stress, grief, relationship challenges, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and tailored to each client's individual needs. I incorporate evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing,
As a proud Diné (Navajo) woman, I value the importance of culture, identity, and community in the healing process. I strive to provide culturally sensitive care for individuals from all backgrounds and have a special interest in supporting Native American communities, military-connected individuals, first responders, healthcare professionals, and those experiencing burnout or compassion fatigue.
Whether you're seeking support during a difficult season or working toward long-term personal growth, my goal is to help you feel empowered, develop practical coping strategies, and move toward the life you want to live. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and wellness.
