Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming at times, but you don't have to navigate it alone. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I believe that every person has strengths they can build upon, and together we will identify practical tools to help you move toward healing, resilience, and a more fulfilling life.

Before opening my private practice, I spent years working as a licensed clinical social worker in a Level 1 trauma hospital, providing crisis intervention, psychosocial assessments, discharge planning, and emotional support to individuals and families experiencing some of life's most difficult moments. This experience has strengthened my ability to help clients navigate trauma, grief, medical challenges, major life transitions, and emotional distress with empathy and practical guidance.

I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville and am licensed to provide therapy in Indiana and Kentucky. I provide virtual therapy for adolescents, adults, and older adults.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidenced based. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while integrating trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based interventions tailored to each client's unique needs. I believe therapy should be a partnership where you feel safe, respected, and supported every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic connection. During this time, you can ask questions about my experience, credentials, and therapeutic approach, while sharing what brings you to therapy and the challenges you are currently facing. You are never expected to share everything at once, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable to you. Together, we will identify goals for treatment and discuss next steps, including how often we will meet, with sessions typically lasting 50 minutes and occurring weekly or bi-weekly.
