My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, understanding, and tailored to each person. I use a mix of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gestalt Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Existential Therapy. In simple terms, this means I help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, while also building healthy coping skills, staying present in the moment, and exploring what truly matters to you. I focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported as we work together toward growth, healing, and meaningful change at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we will focus on getting to know you and what brought you to therapy. We will talk about your current concerns, any goals you may have, and what you are hoping to get out of the process. You can ask questions and share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. There is no pressure. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space and help you feel comfortable moving forward.
