Great to meet you!

I am intensively-trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). DBT is an evidence-based treatment that has solid research behind its efficacy, and addresses many problems and behavior patterns that stem from emotional dysregulation and challenges in coping with emotions. I work with adolescents, families, individuals and couples, drawing on my DBT training, mindfulness practices, as well as relational and family systems models.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy utilizes my evidence-based training in a collaborative fashion with my clients, tailored to individual needs and realities. I have worked extensively with those struggling with Binge Eating, Bulimia, Self-Injurious Behaviors, Depression, Anxiety and Trauma and Interpersonal/Relational challenges..

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel heard, respected, encouraged to work on empowering themselves and improving their lives, cared for, but also pushed when necessary. Sometimes this means fixing things that can be changed, other times, this means working on acceptance of the things we cannot change. No matter what, clients can expect me to be genuine, straight forward and a true partner in the therapeutic journey.
