Great to meet you!

I have over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. This experience includes 12 years as the Commissioner of Mental Health in a county in New York. This work included responsibility for mental health, alcoholism, mental retatardation (as it was called at the time), forensic mental health and family court.

I specialize in short term treatment or CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) with Adults.

I also believe I have the experience to work with women of color navigating the work field. I've written a couple books re this experience.

I'm active in my community as well as living a healthy lifestyle. I also love to travel.

My approach to therapy

solution focused but participatory. I want to get full knowledge as I can re what's going on with what brought the client to therapy.

What you can expect from me

I want to have a participatory conversation to learn what's been going on so we can come to a solution together. I use a wholistiic approach employing mental and physical wellness and spirituality.
