Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Ellen, a licensed therapist who works with college students and adults. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University and have experience in both residential and outpatient settings. My work is grounded in a person-centered approach, and I thoughtfully incorporate expressive tools and sandtray to help you explore emotions at your own pace. Above all, I strive to create a calm, welcoming space where you feel comfortable, understood, and free to be your full self.

My approach to therapy

I bring a steady, calming presence to sessions and create a space where you feel safe to be fully yourself. My approach is person-centered, warm, and collaborative, and together, we’ll explore your patterns, emotions, and values to build greater self-awareness. When helpful, I incorporate creative approaches to deepen insight, encourage emotional expression, and strengthen coping skills so you can feel more grounded and confident in your choices.

What you can expect from me

In our intake session, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in and what you’d like to feel different in your life. You can expect a relaxed, welcoming environment with no pressure to have everything figured out. My goal is to understand your story, identify initial goals together, and help you leave feeling heard and supported.
