Great to meet you!

I grew up in MA. I earned a 2nd-degree black belt from Premier Martial Arts. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UML. I worked at a group home for teenagers, then one for adult men with schizophrenia. I worked as a support and then a lead teacher at a day program for adults with developmental disabilities. There, I learned a lot about Behaviorism and ABA. I was then able to work as a clinician as I finished my graduate degree.

I earned my graduate degree at Fitchburg State University. I did my internship at the Community Health Center in Fitchburg. I worked in community mental health before venturing out on my own.

I specialize in EMDR for complex trauma and solution-focused short-term therapy. I am willing to share personal and HIPAA-compliant info if it is relevant to your recovery. I chose this specialty because it has worked for me! Let me show you how you can take back control of your mental health.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative. You are the expert in you! I am an 'expert' in asking the right questions, showing unexpected options or perspectives, teaching mental health management skills, and allowing you to experience the amazing success of evidence-based treatments. I want you to learn how to better manage on your own and be confident in your mental health resilience. Unlike others, I want you to "graduate" once you feel you have control back. Everyone is always welcome to return if a new issue arises or if there are any slips in thinking or behaviors. I want to encourage independence while being supportive, not enabling.

What you can expect from me

Clients are usually anxious. If you are concerned or have any specific worries, please email me for free email consultations.

  • Please don't worry about being judged; I won't. Please don't worry about being too traumatized or not traumatized enough. Everyone is different, and everyone can use psychoeducation on how to manage mental health.
  • If you come to my office, I am there by appointment only.
  • If you want details before you come, I can email them.
  • If you are online, you will receive an email with a link from Headway. If you have issues, email me.
