Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York with over 20 years of experience in mental health. I graduated with a Doctorate of Social Work from Capella University, a Masters of Social Work from Marywood University, and undergraduate degree from State University of NY. I specialize in working with teens and adults coping with life stressors related to personal relationships, life changes, work-related issues, stress/anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

I use a person-centered, trauma-informed approach tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Each person has a unique perspective and set of core beliefs around their experience of life. Through exploration of these perspectives and beliefs one can connect to the truth within themselves in the present moment, become free from self-generated suffering, and gain insight, clarity and choice in their behavior.

What you can expect from me

I believe that each person entering therapy is seeking to find the answers for their lives that will enhance their ability to have the best life possible. Life happens and then each of us need to figure it out. Sometimes we need someone to come along side on our journey to help us find our best way forward. Remember, life is a journey, not a destination.
