Great to meet you!

I earned a bachelor's degree in public health from the University of Miami before spending two years serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Zambia. I completed my master's in social work at the University of Tennessee and began my clinical career at Vanderbilt University's psychiatric hospital. I have since specialized in eating disorders, trauma, and mood disorders.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher I am uniquely positioned to support you in connecting your brain's intellect with your body's intuition. My therapeutic approach is evidence-based and varied; drawing from modalities including CBT, DBT, EFT, ACT, parts work, and somatics.

My goal is to support you through your current stressors and help you develop tools to ride life's waves for years to come. You can expect a therapy experience that is down-to-earth and filled with wholehearted human connection.

What you can expect from me

I believe deeply in the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship and know that therapy doesn't have to feel stuffy to be effective. In our first session, I will get to know you, your history, and your goals for therapy. You're also free to ask me questions that would help you feel more comfortable and sure that I am the right fit for you.
